The U16s put in a superb performance on Sunday, despite the very early start, as they competed in the annual East Midlands Regional Tournament, with qualification for the National Finals on the line.
Every single member of the squad contributed to what was an unbeaten day, with 8 wins and 1 draw across the nine games. As a result, they went on to better last year’s U16 team, who finished second, with a first place finish and secured qualification for the U16 National Finals for the club's second year in a row.
Massive congratulations to the whole squad, and all the girls that have been a part of this team this year. Each and every one of you is a valued member of the club and we couldn’t be prouder of you. It was amazing to watch you put all your training into practice in each game, and proof that hard work really does pay off. A special well done also to the player of the tournament, Lottie G.
The whole club will be cheering you on as you head to Essex at the end of April to compete in the National Finals!
